Method
- Fry the chopped onion and grated carrot in oil for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and tomato paste.
- Add the rinsed lentils and diced potatoes and pour in 1.5 l of water.
- Simmer for 25 minutes, until the lentils are soft.
- Season with salt and pepper. For a smoother soup, blend half of it.
