Changes to the Law on insurance for work accidents and occupational diseases, in force from 20.12.2001
Law No. 645 amends three provisions of Law No. 756-XIV on insurance for work accidents and occupational diseases. The percentage in Article 16 paragraph (1) drops from at least 50% to at least 25%. The text does not say who this change applies to. The law enters into force on 20.12.2001.

Law No. 653
Reference amount for calculating fines set at 18 lei
Law nr. 653 adds a new paragraph to Article 7 of Law nr. 1432-XIV on setting and reviewing the minimum wage. Until the new Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code and Contravention Code enter into force, the reference amount for calculating fines is 18 lei. The law took effect on 20.12.2001.
