Law No. 1253
New rules on bringing back money from foreign trade deals in Moldova
Law No. 1253 of 19.07.2002 amends Law No. 1466-XIII of 1998 on the repatriation of money, goods and services from foreign economic transactions. Resident economic agents must meet set deadlines for receiving or repatriating money and goods. The law took effect on 15.08.2002.

Amendment to Article 26 of the law on state protected natural areas
The law amends letter b) of Article 26 of Law No. 1538-XIII of 25 February 1998 on the state protected natural areas fund. The new text allows exploration and extraction of natural resources, except resources of national importance (oil, natural gas), provided that special environmental protection requirements set by the central authority responsible for natural resources and environmental protection are met. The law entered into force on 15.08.2002.
