Law No. 265/2016: interpreting Articles 54 and 71 of the Bank Recovery and Resolution Law
The law clarifies that Article 35 of Law No. 548-XIII on the National Bank of Moldova fully applies to the temporary administrator and the special administrator appointed by the National Bank, under Article 54 paragraph (1) and Article 71 paragraph (3) of Law No. 232/2016. This includes the case where the administrator is a member of the National Bank's Executive Committee whose mandate is suspended by law. The law entered into force on 23.12.2016.
