Sales of farmland up to 0.25 hectares no longer require notarization

Law nr. 115 of 23.05.2013 amends the law on the normative price and the sale and purchase of land. Sale and purchase contracts for privately owned agricultural land of up to 0.25 hectares, allocated under art. 12 of the Land Code, no longer have to be notarized if they are confirmed by a certificate issued by the local mayor's office. The law entered into force on 21.06.2013.
