În Legea nr. 430-XV din 31 octombrie 2003 pentru modificarea şi completarea unor acte normative, publicată în Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2003, nr. 239-242, art. 956:

1. La articolul XI, cifrele "(16)", "(13)", "(10)", "(12)" şi "(11)" se înlocuiesc cu cifrele "(17)", "(14)", "(11)", "(13)", respectiv "(12)".

2. La articolul XVI, cifra "(10)", se înlocuieşte cu cifra "(7)".

La articolul II din Legea nr. 568-XV din 25 decembrie 2003 privind completarea anexei nr. 1 la Legea nr. 1380-XIII din 20 noiembrie 1997 cu privire la tariful vamal şi modificarea articolului 4 din Legea nr. 1417-XIII din 17 decembrie 1997 pentru punerea în aplicare a Titlului III al Codului fiscal, publicată în Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2004, nr. 6-12, art. 78, cifra "(11)" se înlocuieşte, în ambele cazuri, cu cifra "(8)".

La articolul I din Legea nr. 583-XV din 26 decembrie 2003 privind completarea articolului 4 din Legea nr. 1054-XIV din 16 iunie 2000 pentru punerea în aplicare a Titlului IV din Codul fiscal şi a anexei nr.2 la Legea nr. 1380-XIII din 20 noiembrie 1997 cu privire la tariful vamal, publicată în Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova, 2004, nr. 6-12, art. 90, cifra "(11¹)" se înlocuieşte, în ambele cazuri, cu cifra "(8¹)".

Law No. 550/2003 adds the Public Administration Academy to annexes 1-3 of the Public Service Law

The law adds the Public Administration Academy under the President of the Republic of Moldova to annexes No. 1-3 of the Public Service Law No. 443-XIII of 4 May 1995. Annex No. 1 now lists the academy as a national center for promoting state policy in public administration, annex No. 2 lists the academy's rector and vice-rectors, and annex No. 3 lists the department directors, division heads, chair heads and section heads of the academy's units that directly train civil servants. The law entered into force on 23.01.2004, and the text states it was repealed by Law No. 158-XVI of 04.07.08, effective 01.01.09.

Interest on loans to livestock enterprises suspended for 2003-2008

The law adds a new article to Law No. 113-XV of 13 March 2003. Interest on loans granted by the Ministry of Finance to livestock enterprises listed in annexes No. 1 and No. 4 is suspended from 1 April 2003 to 1 January 2008. The law entered into force on 23.01.2004.

Cancellation of penalties and fines for certain agricultural producers

The law approves lists of agricultural producers whose penalties and financial sanctions (fines) are cancelled, based on the situation as of 22 July 2003. Income resulting from the cancellation is considered non-taxable. The law entered into force on 23.01.2004.

Law No. 580/2003: new pay positions for court staff

The law amends Annex No. 3 to the Salary Law No. 1305-XII of 25 February 1993. The old positions for the Supreme Court of Judiciary, the people's court, the military court and the arbitration body are replaced with positions for the Supreme Court of Justice, the courts of appeal, the courts, the Economic Court of Appeal, the Economic District Court and the Military Court. The law entered into force on 23.01.2004. The text shown states that it was repealed by LP355-XVI of 23.12.2005.

Suspension of bank operations on current accounts of certain joint-stock companies from 18.12.2003

The National Securities Commission suspended bank operations on the current accounts of the joint-stock companies listed in the annex to the ordinance, until their activity complies with legislation. The text gives as reasons the failure to submit the 2002 reports and the failure to keep the shareholder register. The ordinance entered into force on the day of adoption, 18.12.2003.
