Amendment to Article 39 of the Citizenship Law: district chair or mayor replaces county prefect
The law changes a wording in Article 39 paragraph (1) of the Citizenship Law No. 1024-XIV of 2 June 2000. The reference to the county prefect is replaced by the district chair or the municipality mayor. The law took effect on 01.08.2003.
