Law No. 3/2004: criminal procedure terms replaced in several acts
The law amends several legislative acts by replacing certain terms. The preliminary investigation or criminal investigation body becomes the criminal prosecution officer, and initiating criminal proceedings becomes starting criminal prosecution. The law enters into force on 12.03.2004.

Ratification of the Protocol amending the Germany investment agreement
Parliament ratified the Protocol amending the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the Federal Republic of Germany on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments, signed in Berlin on 26 August 2003. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will notify the German side of the ratification. The law entered into force on 12.03.2004.

Unblocking bank accounts of three joint-stock companies, 2004 decision of the National Securities Commission
The National Securities Commission decided to unblock the bank accounts of three joint-stock companies: "Piscicola Gura Bîcului", "Sud - Trans" and "Prestări - Servicii". The companies brought their activity in line with Article 54 of the Law on the securities market nr.199-XIV by submitting the securities report and the financial and economic activity report for the 2002 management year. The ordinance entered into force on the date of adoption, 12.03.2004.

Unblocking of bank accounts of JSC "Sidjon" under Ordinance No. 6/2 of 2004
The National Securities Commission decided to unblock the bank accounts of the joint-stock company "Sidjon" (c/f 705109). The text says the company brought its activity into line with Article 17 of the Law on Joint-Stock Companies No. 1134-XIII of 02.04.1997, by sending the database to the independent registrar "Registru" to form the shareholders' register. The Ordinance entered into force on the date of adoption, 12.03.2004.
