Amendments to several laws on privatization, concessions, cadastre and public property

Law no. 910 of 14.03.2002 amends several laws, mainly the names of some state bodies and the rules on concessions. Local executive authorities prepare concession proposals, and representative authorities decide within 20 days. The law entered into force on 23.04.2002.

Law No. 930 amends the petroleum market law: storage replaced, regulatory payment, liquefied gases added

Law No. 930 of 22.03.2002 amends Law No. 461-XV on the petroleum products market. The word stocare is replaced by depozitare, the concept of safety stocks is removed, and the regulatory fee becomes a regulatory payment set for importers of petroleum products. Liquefied gases are added to several provisions. The law entered into force on 23.04.2002.

Settling historic debts of the former Chisinau Glass Factory joint-stock company

The law authorizes the Ministry of Finance to transfer the former company's assets and obligations to the newly founded state enterprise and to settle debts owed to the state budget. Property transferred to settle debts to the state is not subject to value added tax. The law entered into force on 23.04.2002.

The law amends Law No. 1134-XIII on joint stock companies. Shareholders get new deadlines to request items on the agenda and to propose candidates for the board and the audit commission. Open companies must publish information by 15 March of the year after the reporting year. The law entered into force on 23.04.2002.
