RCA: the lowest price
1,493.97 lei a year for the standard car: BNM's legal minimum, BNM Decision 198/2026, in force from 4 October 2026.
In short
For a 1,601–2,000 cm³ car owned by an individual in Chișinău, with a driver over 23 and a licence over 2 years, in bonus-malus class 7, RCA costs at least 1,493.97 lei a year. That is BNM's reference premium (BNM Decision 198/2026, in force from 4 October 2026): no insurer may sell for less. Under the previous tariff, from 25 November 2025, the minimum was 1,377.55 lei. Satelit computes the price without an account, an IDNP or the registration certificate.

Bonus-malus classes
Each year without a paid claim moves you up one class. One paid claim moves you down two classes, two claims four, three claims six, four or more to class M. The class is recalculated on 19 May and applies from 20 May. A driver new to RCA starts in class 7 (coefficient 1).

Worth knowing
- BNM's reference premium is the legal minimum: no insurer may sell below it.
- Computed as the methodology says: every factor multiplied, rounded to the ban. The insurer may differ by one ban.
- The insurer does not publish its tariff, although the methodology requires it. We show the average premium it collected (BNM), not a price for your car.
- A trailer pays 20% of its towing vehicle's premium (10% for the Green Card).

How is the RCA premium worked out?
The base premium of 1,420.00 lei is multiplied by the profile's factors: K1 1.08, K2 1.35, K3 0.88, K4 0.82, Kbm 1.00. The result is rounded to the ban.
